The Alliance

Built for the girls who weren't told.

PCOS Alliance is a women's health nonprofit organization preventing the progression of PMOS and onsets of metabolic syndrome in girls and women through early intervention, integrative care resources, and trauma-informed support.

What we do

Teach early

Workshops and curriculum for girls, families, and the clinicians who see them.

Treat the whole person

Nutrition, movement, sleep, and mental health held together, not one symptom at a time.

Build the network

Practitioners, students, and advocates carrying the work into their own communities.

Our vision

Every girl learns about her body, early.

And every woman builds lifelong hormonal and metabolic health, treated as a whole person rather than one symptom at a time.

Symptoms at eight. A diagnosis at sixteen. Still no plan.

Eight years undiagnosed. That is why whole-person care is method here, not philosophy.

Inika Mehra is a women's health founder, performer, and philanthropist redefining how girls and women with PMOS are seen, heard, and cared for. Inspired by her own journey, she founded PCOS Alliance to make early education, integrative care, and trauma-informed support accessible to every girl and woman.

Her work has taken her to Stanford Medicine, UCSF, the Association for Women in Science, and the Rotary Club of San Francisco, and was featured on ABC7 News during Women's History Month. At the Women Changing the World Awards, she was named Young Woman of the Year and Leader of the Year for the Americas, and selected as one of twelve Global Finalists.

Beyond the Alliance, Inika has raised more than $10,000 for women's health initiatives, served as Miss San Francisco 2025, the first South Asian woman to hold the title, and performs as a professional dancer blending Indian, Middle Eastern, and American styles.

Her mission is simple: no girl should wait years for answers about her own body.
